Made Garlic Sausage w/ Mashed Potatoes & Cream Corn for supper yesterday, it is a family dish that my grandmother used to make; might not look good but it is delish & easy to make. 😋
Recipe:
4 potatoes(peeled & cut, put in a pot with water, wash 2 times, fill with fresh water to cover potatoes) put half a garlic sausage ring(remove casing) sliced up into pot with potatoes, bring to a boil on stove top burner on medium heat 5-6 until potatoes are tender; pick out sausage with a fork & put into a separate bowl(cover with lid to keep warm), drain potatoes in the drainer, put back in the pot add margarine(or butter, etc) mash with masher then add some milk(optional) whip with a wooden spoon(or a spoon of choice) then serve up on plates put cream corn over top of mashed potatoes(it taste really good) & season with S&P and enjoy.
